HID lights are widely used in general mid to high bay lightings in heavy industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, flour and feed mills etc. In order to improve productivity and ensure safety in these hazardous, dust-explosive environments, it is absolutely necessary to use ultra-durable closed fixtures to provide bright, evenly distributed light. The fixtures are usually constructed with heavy-duty cast aluminum and tempered glass lens. These HID fixtures are of good quality and expensive. Therefore, what to do with the HID fixture becomes a challenge question when it comes to replace the existing HID with more efficient LED. 


MATIC LED retrofitting offers effective alternatives for these concerns and brings many benefits to use the LED lighting.


First of all, using MATIC patented technology,  we developed the MATIC H2LC/HID250-LED070W-WP that uses the “plug and play” design to replace the HID with the LED MATIC lamp using the existing fixture and CWA ballast.,
